Yes for friends! He'll find it strange coming from a stranger. Being Japanese and a younger year in high school, he's respectful of personal boundaries to a certain extent, especially for girls.

Shoyo is very friendly and loves to break down the walls that people put up around themselves. That said, sometimes he's not all that smart about people who aren't as friendly and can potentially make them uncomfortable without realizing it.

Game injuries, or those outside of games that might affect his playing, would be super interesting to deal with. He's not much of a fighter, but he is known to stand up for others, so it might happen.
